A flat, square, satin-finished bezel surrounds the stunning, light-reflecting dial with a distinctive horizontal brushed finish. The famous big date appears masterfully on the two-stage dial. At each quarter hour, trapezoidal hour markers add another distinctive feature to the combination. At 12 o'clock, a dot on the bezel cleverly serves as a marker, evoking the round hour markers that were historically present in several Multifort models. As an extension of this sophisticated bezel, the bracelet with its polished central elements gives the watch an elegant roundness.

The transparent caseback of the Multifort TV Big Date provides a view of the finely decorated gears of the caliber 80 with a oscillating weight decorated with Geneva stripes and engraved with the Mido logo. The model offers a power reserve of up to 80 hours. Mido has incorporated a balance spring made from Nivachron™, a state-of-the-art material that offers excellent resistance to magnetic fields and shocks for outstanding precision. The Multifort TV Big Date is reliable down to the smallest detail and can withstand a pressure of up to 10 bar (100 m / 330 ft).
